Doran Consulting undertook this refurbishment project in the existing concrete framed office accommodation of the Russell Court Complex on the Lisburn Road in Belfast providing 1,000m to the BIH existing offices.

Demolition and replacement of the existing steel framed entrance has created an impressive entrance foyer which provides access to the adjacent concrete framed building at basement, ground and first floor levels. The existing original hotel ballroom has been refurbished to provide BIH with new conference facilities including two meeting rooms, a staff training room and a boardroom with state of the art AV and IT conferencing installations. The prominent curved profile of the original ballroom was totally rebuilt as part of the works and a new curtain walling system was installed including a curved section to the full width of the new boardroom.
