Anthony Carr graduated from Queen’s
University of Belfast in 2008, with a First-Class Honours Master’s degree in
Civil Engineering. Following graduation, Anthony joined Doran Consulting,
having previously undertaken a year in industry and several summer placements
within the company. Anthony became a Chartered Engineer in 2015 then was appointed to the post of Associate in 2016 and Technical Director in 2021.
Throughout his career, Anthony has developed a keen interest in sustainable development and has developed particular expertise in the design, modelling and implementation of large-scale earthworks schemes, road design and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
Anthony works as a team leader within the infrastructure sector of the company, having gained valuable experience in a wide range of civil engineering projects including the development of harbours, airports, highways, hospitals, schools, waste management facilities, power transmission and Energy from Waste infrastructure.
