Dunore WTW - Ozone Plant, Co. Antrim

Doran Consulting provided a design service to Williams Industrial Services for this Mechanical & Electrical contract for NI Water at Dunore WTW.

To tackle the ongoing problem of high levels of THMs in the potable water, this scheme installed ozonation equipment within the existing works to treat the total 136Ml/day output from the works.

Our design included the hydraulic modelling and calculation of flows to ensure throughput through the new ozonation plant matches the existing throughput of the works.

The calculations also determined the flow characteristics of the new ozonation plant to allow the retention of existing plant prior to and after the new works.
