Charles Hurst, Peugeot Showroom, Boucher Road

This car showroom and servicing facility at Charles Hurst Boucher Road, Belfast complex was constructed on a Design & Build basis. Doran Consulting provided the civil and structural engineering design services as a member of a team led by McLaughlin & Harvey.

The workshop was a structural steel portal frame structure and the adjoining showroom features exposed tubular steel trusses. A 2-storey office area was constructed using 'Holorib' flooring, designed compositely with the first floor beams.

The building is clad with horizontally spanning panels. All design, interior and exterior, was in accordance with the Peugeot Corporate branding.

Doran Consulting also designed the civil engineering works which included drainage, access and parking arrangements.
