Road Design and Traffic Management

Doran Consulting has designed a number of traffic calming schemes on behalf of DRD Roads Service. As part of our service we have undertaken public consultations and displays and liaised with elected representatives, community groups and the emergency services.

We have undertaken numerous feasibility studies in relation to safe access to private properties, housing estates, golf clubs, industrial premises, schools and hospitals. These entailed close liaison with the Roads Service and Planning Service on behalf of our clients. These studies have often led to the design of new roads and junctions.

Doran Consulting has undertaken numerous road improvement schemes including road realignments and junction improvements designed in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.

The contract documents for all road improvement schemes are prepared in accordance with the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works. We can provide office based site supervision or resident site supervision.
