Campbell College Prep & Middle School, Belfast

Preparatory Department

Doran Consulting provided civil and structural engineering services for the new preparatory school at the Campbell College site. The building featured a central agora with high level glazing, curved Kalzip roof and a range of hard play and car parking areas. Internally, exposed steelwork is a feature of the main social space. As part of the site development, storm attenuation was required. This was designed as part of our civil engineering commission, utilising a storm cell system.

New Middle School

This project involved construction of a new 2-storey middle school building comprising art, IT and sports facilities. The structure comprised structural steel framing and a roof, portal frame sports hall and a precast concrete first floor.
