Expertise & Delivery
The project was delivered through feasibility, design, procurement and construction, with Doran Consulting using traffic modelling and operational consultation to optimise lane layouts, queuing, vehicle segregation and emergency access. Detailed phasing within the live secure port-maintained passenger and freight movements as work areas were brought into service. The team coordinated Belfast Harbour, ferry operators, border agencies, utilities and the contractor and managed design risk, NEC processes, quality and construction interfaces. Durable pavement, drainage and lighting solutions were selected for intensive heavy-vehicle use and maintainability, supporting an expanded terminal without interruption to core port services.
