Expertise & Delivery
The project was delivered through RIBA Stages 0–7, with consultation undertaken with residents, sports clubs, statutory bodies and accessibility groups to ensure the scheme met stakeholder needs and the Council’s strategic objectives.
The project addressed historical pitch flooding and limited sporting capacity through the redevelopment of a shared, inclusive sporting facility incorporating new drainage infrastructure. The scheme supports local teams of all abilities, promotes physical and mental wellbeing, and addresses wider issues including anti-social behaviour, inadequate parking, community tensions and climate change.
