Bridge Engineering
Doran Consulting has a dedicated Bridge Team who have extensive experience of delivering civil and structural engineering design services and innovation in the specialism of bridge engineering.
Our team has a proven track record in the following areas:
- Project Management, including delivery of framework contracts, in relation to inspection, assessment, rehabilitation, repair and bridge strengthening programmes
- Design and construction of a range of bridge structures including multi-span bridges and precast beam and reinforced concrete composite slab bridges utilising masonry arch, prestressed beam and reinforced concrete deck
- Design schemes including bridge structures associated with major highway infrastructure
- Design of feature footbridges
- Detailed knowledge of and experience in the use of Eurocodes, the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works
- Detailed knowledge of and experience in the use of Public Works procurement contracts in Ireland
- Assessment and design solutions including realignment for bridge structures on road widening projects
