Throughout its history, Doran Consulting has been involved in a range of projects which have enhanced the built environment, working on many significant and iconic landmark buildings which have won many awards over the years for the quality of their design and positive impact on the local landscape.

The company has particular strengths in the design of educational facilities, through all levels of education from primary school to university; and in the healthcare sector, from major acute hospitals to long term residential care facilities.

We have provided design services in relation to many commercial and retail developments including hotels, shopping centres and other retail outlets and office complexes; and in relation to many key civic developments including judicial facilities, theatre and arts complexes, civic offices and community centres. We also have a track record of involvement in a range of community related projects, including providing design services for leisure facilities including leisure centres, tracks, sports pitches and mountain bike trails; and providing inspection services and refurbishment advice in relation to a number of churches and ecclesiastical facilities.

Procurement structures for the above projects have included traditional, PPP/ PFI, design build and partnering.
