Rory McSwiggan

Rory is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and has worked within Doran Consulting’s Public Health Team since 2021. Before joining the company, he worked on turnkey projects for clients worldwide across the wastewater, sand and aggregate, recycling and soil remediation industries.

His expertise includes process and mechanical design, commissioning and optimisation, tendering, MEICA equipment specification and procurement, wastewater treatment process design, project optioneering, feasibility studies, chemical analysis, hydraulic design and contract management.

Rory has delivered process and mechanical designs for projects including Nenagh Wastewater Treatment Plant, which serves 22,000 population equivalent (PE), and is involved in a range of other wastewater treatment schemes. He has also attended and facilitated HAZOP studies for multiple clients.
