Roger Knipe

Roger joined Doran Consulting in 2016, became an Associate in 2018 and was promoted to Technical Director in 2023. He specialises in civil and structural engineering, working closely with clients, designers and contractors to deliver complex projects across the commercial, industrial, process, transportation and education sectors.

Roger has led the structural and civil engineering design of several major projects, including the City Quays 3 office development at Belfast Harbour, Rookery South Energy from Waste plant, Southern Regional College’s Armagh campus and Belfast Grand Central Station.

He also has a long-standing involvement with the Institution of Structural Engineers, having served as Chair of its Young Members Panel, a member of Council and Treasurer of the Northern Ireland Regional Group.
