James Cochrane

James joined Doran Consulting in 2007 and has delivered structural engineering projects across the education, healthcare, residential, commercial and power transmission sectors.

His early project experience included university research and teaching facilities, followed by healthcare projects including health and wellbeing centres and hospital facilities such as Omagh Hospital. James has also contributed to major residential and office developments, including City Quays 1 and City Quays 2 at Belfast Harbour.

James currently works as a team leader within Doran Consulting’s power transmission sector. His project experience includes the award-winning East West Interconnector, which links the British and Irish electricity grids, and the Caithness-Moray HVDC Link.
