Campbell Davis

Campbell joined Doran Consulting in 1988 after completing his PhD. He was appointed Partner in 2003, with the title changing to Director following the company’s incorporation in 2005.

His expertise spans marine structures, bridges and river engineering, including harbour infrastructure, coastal protection, dredging, underwater and condition inspections, structural assessments, concrete repair and refurbishment, reinforced concrete and structural steel design, bridge assessment and design, river and canal engineering, and Flood Risk Assessments.

Campbell has acted as Project Director on major marine and port infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland, including work at Belfast Harbour, Portrush, Kilkeel, Portavogie, Ardglass, Dublin Port, Wicklow, Green Port Hull, Tilbury2 and Killybegs.

He also leads Doran Consulting’s Bridge Team, which undertakes inspection, assessment, refurbishment and new bridge design across the UK and Ireland.
