Anthony Carr

Anthony joined Doran Consulting after graduating from Queen’s University Belfast with a First-Class Honours Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2008, having previously completed a year in industry and several summer placements with the company. He became a Chartered Engineer in 2015, was appointed Associate in 2016 and Technical Director in 2021.

Anthony specialises in sustainable infrastructure, with particular expertise in large-scale earthworks, road design and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS). As a team leader within Doran Consulting’s Infrastructure Team, he has delivered civil engineering projects across the harbour, aviation, highways, healthcare, education, waste management, power transmission and Energy from Waste sectors.

Key projects include Omagh Hospital, Bushmills Warehousing, Bushmills Distillery Expansion, Victoria Square Development in Woking, Rookery South EFW, Newhurst EFW, Slough EFW, Lostock EFW and Moray East Substation Development.
