Civil and Structural Engineering Design Service for
Universities
Doran Consulting has contributed to a range of developments to the facilities of Northern Ireland’s two universities, Queen’s University Belfast and The University of Ulster, over the past 50 years.
Projects have included providing structural and civil engineering design advice in relation to several new and refurbished library and computer-based study facilities including the Seamus Heaney and McClay Libraries for Queen’s University and the Learning Resource Centre for the University of Ulster. We have also provided design advice in relation to the provision of specialist scientific teaching facilities, including the Physics Research and Medical Biology Teaching Centres, which are both part of Queen’s University.
